saturday night outfit

 Hiya everyone!

As a follow up to my makeup post, I thought I'd show you guys what I wore last night as well.It's nothing to go 'OMG AMAZING FASHION' about but compared to most people there (somehow people just go with black and white...how boring), it was quite adventurous.

Yeah. I am quite The Dark Knight obsessed....that's one of my THREE posters...

Anyway, the top is from H&M, the skirt is from H&M, the shoes are from Matalan (I think). Quite H&M orientated, isn't it?

Anyone up for seeing the clothes this morning/afternoon, after the whole partying?

 So as you can see, there's quite a lot of glow paint. Samiha, one of my friends, really went a bit OTT ahahaha she drew a heart on my front which ended up going all the way through to my bra! I suppose with a sheer top like that, it's to be expected ahahaha. She is also responsable for the hand print.

 Quite crazy, as you can see. I will admit that I exaggerated slightly with painting my friends ahahaha...

Saturday night FOTN

Why hello there everyone, hasn't it been a long time?
I really need to apologise about that as I've been absolutely swamped with being sick/having school commitments/going out these past few weeks. Add to that that I have recently acquired an iPod Touch, well, I don't go on my computer often then, do it?

Last night, I went out with two good friends to a club that had a gow paint party, which was awesome! I would recommend not getting it in your hair/on your scalp as it really is a pain to get out (had to shampoo my hair twice and it still felt dry).

I have got some FOTN pictures for you all as I decided to go for a -gasp- smokey eye! I know, me, the girl who usually stays well away from them, decided to give it a go (:

 I'm sorry, I've only just realised I have the same gormless expression on each picture. Awkward much?!

Anyway, I am in LOVE with the eyeshadow I used. This eyeshadow being MUA shade 12, the well know MAC Club dupe and I adore it, if it's a dupe or not. The duochrome makes it look flashy enough to wear on its own, although I did use a black eyeliner base on my eyelids to make it pop more.

I'm actually also quite pleased with my eyeliner flick! I used Sephora's liquid eyeliner, which I got for 5€ and to begin with, hated it as I got it EVERYWHERE, but I did the pencil trick to balance the flick and I think it ended up quite well :)

And this here would explain the absence of review posts as I can't really swatch on my arm and it's a pain doing it on my right arm. I've been involved with this exchange project with Indian youths and they were over in Luxembourg and one of them did beautiful henna for a few people and this is my one! Unfortunately, it's faded now and is nearly gone...):

random pictures from the last few weeks

Oh, hello there. it's me again, Nat, back from the dead (or so it seems). I started school two weeks ago and it's DRAINED me! Seriously, I've been falling asleep after school when I get home cause I'm so exhausted, I guess I'm having difficulty adjusting to the change in schedule.

So I figured I would do a post with some pictures from the last few weeks as it seems that my social life seems to have improved a bit ahaha.

Here we have my best friend and I on set on the film we did. Well, I say on set. I mean 'in the place where the extras wait around the whole time'. We got bored so started making funny poses. Here I am wearing my brother's glasses (and sporting a facial expression similar to his favourite pose) and she is wearing my Ray Bans that are slightly too big for her face ahahaha.

Here I was at a friend's for a DVD night and we got bored and started playing around with her Photobooth. We started out with crazy poses (the first one) and then my friend got her fake moustaches (I want some!!!) and we all kept on trying them on. So what do you guys think, should I grow a beard ahahaha? I liked the whole stroking-beard-whilst-thinking-something-through thing!

Today, I went shopping with a friend of mine (top photo). I had to include this photo as her eyes look stunning in it and I just generally adore the way she does her eye makeup! And we walked past the palace and decided to act like tourists as I had my DSLR with me and taking pictures and everything ahahaha. As you can see, the guard is nothing compared to what the ones in front of Buckingham Palace look like.

And here is an edited in Photoshop picture that I took on the bus home. I actually wanted to get a picture of the countryside, but the window was in the way so now you have one of a dirty window with the afternoon sunshine in the background, I quite like it though.


Right, my next post will be various FOTDs from these past weeks, so keep an eye out for that one!

Apologies

Hi everyone,

this is just an apology for the rather mediocre post over the weekend. I know I would usually post something at the weekend, but as it happens, I've been sick since Wednesday and to be blunt, I look like death warmed over. Blotchy nose, puffy eyes, I don't think my foundation's up to par with making me look healthy at the moment! And then to make matters worse, because of the strain of coughing so much, the skin around my eyes has somehow developed a slight rash which from afar would look like freckles, which I suppose is better than being completely obvious, so that's why EOTDs and FOTDs have been out.



I did have a few reviews lined up such as my lipgloss collection (it's not big, trust me) but again, my internet is acting up and won't work from my computer with all my pics on and stuff so I'm using an old laptop at the moment. To compensate for that matter, I'll upload a pic that I did manage to get on to photobucket, so I guess it's a little preview.

I don't know when I'll next be able to update before the weekend as this week is just a nightmare as far as tests go. English, German (this will not go over well, I can tell you that already), Maths and Physics. The last two are on the same day so wish me luck! I'm a little nervous with physics because it's our first year doing it and our first test and I dunno if I understand it enough to pass the test (add to that that we do most of our subjects in French -> ten times harder) so yeah, fingers crossed it will go well!

Normally I would say I don't have much to worry about concerning the English test but stupid me left the book we had to read for the test at school so whether I can remember all the small details from when I finished it a couple of weeks ago we'll find out tomorrow, unless I can borrow my friend's book on the bus tomorrow and read the chapters we have to read in time.

So this has gone a bit off topic but I just felt I owed you all an explanation as to why I haven't posted much xxxx
